Cody Harden, Founder and CEO of CodiaQ Consulting, is a global business leader, entrepreneur, and behavioral science professional with more than a decade of experience spanning international business, sales, marketing, operations, organizational leadership, and strategic development.

Originally from Georgia, Cody earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Alabama State University before continuing his education with a master’s degree in the Psychology of Leadership from Penn State. He later earned his Doctorate from Purdue University in Behavioral Science, with a focus on Leadership and Innovation. His advanced academic background in human behavior, leadership, and organizational development complements the practical business experience he has gained throughout his career.

After relocating to China in 2019, Cody developed extensive experience navigating international business environments and building relationships throughout China’s manufacturing, sourcing, and supply-chain sectors. In 2020, he founded CodiaQ Consulting with the goal of helping businesses bridge the gap between international markets. Under his leadership, CodiaQ has grown into a global consulting company supporting clients with product development and manufacturing, sourcing, quality control, logistics, business expansion, marketing, leadership development, and cross-cultural business strategy.

Cody’s entrepreneurial experience extends beyond consulting. While living in China, he founded and operated Bear Mart, a successful multi-location convenience store business, before selling the company in 2025. This experience provided him with an additional perspective as both a consultant and business owner, allowing him to understand firsthand the challenges associated with building, operating, scaling, and ultimately exiting a business.

As a proud member of the Maidu Tribe of Northern California, Cody also brings a unique perspective to entrepreneurship, economic development, and relationship building. He is passionate about creating opportunities that connect businesses, communities, and cultures while helping organizations identify practical strategies for sustainable growth.

Today, Cody leads CodiaQ Consulting with a hands-on, relationship-driven approach. By combining behavioral science, leadership expertise, international business experience, and an extensive network across the United States and Asia, he works closely with clients to turn ideas into executable strategies and long-term business opportunities.
